"I've been a fan of McClellan for a LONG time, but this is my FAVORITE of her series." ~ Hungry for Books, top 500 reviewer
Lucien, a centuries old vampire, lives a solitary life with his mind and heart blocked to the past. But all that changes when he meets Eve, a witch who not only stirs an ancient power within him, but also teaches him to love again. This new life is threatened, however, when a powerful vampire who calls himself the Dark Prince vows to unleash a plague upon the earth. And he's after Eve to help him do it.
To save her, Lucien will have to face the monsters of his past, but when they collide with the present, the consequences prove deadly, making his worst nightmare come true.

I was lucky enough to read this book prior to publication, but I still grabbed a copy once it went live as it was too good of a book to have read for free--besides which, I wanted the opportunity to read a final format on my kindle whenever I want! The story continues shortly after where The Devil's Fool left off, but from Lucien's point of view. It was intriguing to see things from his perspective, and definitely the right POV choice for this story. We went from getting to see Eve fall in love with Lucien to getting to see Lucien fall in love with Eve. I have to say, I've been a fan of McClellan or a LONG time...but this is my FAVORITE of her series. This story was an adventure with one turn after the other, and I'm really curious to see how the third book will be approached, and also what the conclusion to this trilogy will be!Product details

The Devil Angel Rachel McClellan 9781519262295 Books Reviews
This review will encompass both The Angel's Fool and The Devil's Angel. Thus far, this amazing story includes well developed characters and storyline. I was rooting for the good guys and hoping they could rid the world of the bad guys. I'm so looking forward to The Devil's Soldier that will apparently wrap up the series. Also, I look forward to reading more of Ms. McClellan's work. Enjoy!
I'm in LOVE with this series...it's taken me on a wild rollercoaster ride! This story moves so fast at times it made me dizzy but yet kept me on my toes! The relationship between Lucien and Eve is beyond strong, she knew it but he keeps fighting it...and poor Charlie doesn't know what he wants.
Great storyline with awesome characters! On to the next!! Remember start with the first book then go on...
I cannot believe this was written by the same author. The entire book changed perspective and it just didn't work for me. It almost seems like the book was written before the first was completed, as there are (just in the beginning) some character actions that don't fit the end of the first book. It took me a week to get through the first few chapters. I am now halfway through and just cannot keep reading. I enjoyed the first of the series enough to happily continue the story here, but that's as far as I can go.
Lucien’s constant angst and Eve’s ongoing idiocy made for this being a hard book to get through, almost didn’t finish. Will not be continuing to the third book, no backing up to the first book. No real story here, no connection to the characters, no believable connection between Lucian and Eve. And Eve’s ongoing relationship with Charlie was deplorable in her part, how she just totally ignored his feelings for her, because she can’t be that stupid to not know how he felt, and would not put distance between them.
Just finished and it has taken 3 weeks to finish the first 2 books ( Devil's Fool and Devil's Angel) for me it's fast... Usually 3 weeks is one book, if I even finish them. I get bored very easily.
I take them everywhere I go and read the book any chance I get. Devil's Angel is just as good as the first. Eve trying to get her feeling across to Lucien and still allowing him to choose was great, makes me wonder if I have to be a vampire to find true love...LOL
MUST READ AND CONTINUE THE SERIES. Maybe someone she think movies for these. Better then the other Vampire movies that came out, no names mentioned but we know which ones.
It leaves you with questions so I shall read on
Since I am a reader that stumbled on to this series in the last two weeks and is moving onto the third book of Devil. Should tell you something about my hunger to fine a worthy read. This was part of a twenty box set and out of the twenty I pick this one to continue its series. Supernatural pulling me in with a fresh storyline that does hold you to each page. Strong characters with surprisingly hidden gifts. But, you got to get Eve over her hang ups and stop making her wishy - washy. Powerful witch that is immortal and you keep throwing her off cliffs. Give your readers a break and give her . . . big boy pants. Kick ass Eve.

Rachel did an amazing job crafting the second story in this series. While it’s not a short read, and the series must be read in order, it is an amazing, layered, page turner.
You’ll be hooked from cover to cover. This is the story of Lucien and Eve, once known as Alarica, in The Devils Fool (Book 1) Lucian happened to be the Vampire who was there to fight the black witch and tore the necklace from her.
Ever since, Eve has been hunting Lucian, she needs him, but why? She killed Boaz, and has moved on with her life, or did she?
Lucian is a complicated vampire who believes he deserves no happiness. The wrong he has done in his past is not something he can live with. But he’s not the same person anymore, right? Then what could possibly be so horrible, that he won’t allow an ounce of happiness in?
Then we have good old Charlie, a man who works for the Deific and is in love with Eve. It’s clear he wants her for himself, but how far will he go to make that happen, and can he actually be trusted? Can anyone who works there, or is it all one big ploy to get to Eve and her power? Oh, and who in the world is “The Dark Prince”?
The connection between Eve and Lucian is perfect and relatable. The banter between Lucian and Charlie will have you laughing out loud. You will see the world created and feel the raw emotions the characters feel.
The author did a wonderful job with the pace of the story, and being a very hard sell on giving 5 stars, I do believe this deserves all of them. While there are a few slow spots, there aren’t many, and there is more than plenty of times you will think you have it all figured out, just to learn you were wrong once again.
I will definitely be moving on immediately to book 3, The Devils Solider, and recommend this series to anyone who loves Vampires, Magic, and edge of your seat suspense.
